These special cactus seeds make it possible to grow your own mescaline cacti. However, it is important to purchase growing equipment for this. It takes a few years before these can be harvested for a trip.
Mescaline is a natural psycho-active substance capable of inducing very strong visions and hallucinations. The San Pedro (Achuma) is a cactus of the trichocereus family and contains high concentrations of the powerful mind-altering substance mescaline. Use of the cactus began as early as 6000 years ago, making it the world's first used psychedelic, of course this cannot be said with 100% certainty.
Given its strong hallucinations and changes in perceptions and perception, the San Pedro cactus is not a cactus for recreational use, here are a few effects that may occur:
- Changes in perception
- Increase in problem-solving thinking abilities
- Concept of time and space falls away
- Sensitive to external stimuli
- Increase in senses triples
- Colourful and lifelike visions
- Objects distort
Use a grow box for the Mescaline San Pedro T. Peruvianus seeds. Fill plastic trays (5 cm) with sterilised soil, place the seeds on the soil and press gently. Place the trays in a layer of boiled water and wait for the soil to become moist on the surface. Remove the jars and cover them with plastic film. Optimal temperature at this stage is between 18°C and 23°C. After a few days to weeks, green baby cacti will emerge. After about 4 weeks you can start hardening off. Pierce 2 holes in the foil and then every other day. You can remove the plastic when there is the same atmosphere under the foil as outside. Water with boiled water or rainwater. Don't let them dry out, but don't overwater them either. After a year you can repot them if necessary, be very careful with the taproot. When the cacti turn yellow they need more light, when they turn red they need less water. Keep out of reach of children!
